The challenge for this event was to bring to life Airbnb's global #LiveThere campaign in a way that would strike a chord and strengthen their relationship with the local community and help to build a greater brand-following within the city.  

 

Experiential agency, Amplify, devised a strategy based around Berlin’s most prominent Airbnb users, creating the #LiveThere Haus - a physical space where these key influencers could share their stories of life in Berlin. 

The week-long event saw guests entering the space via an interactive, cardboard cityscape of archetypical Berlin landmarks, created by local art collective, 44flavours, aimed at mimicking the claustrophobic, tourist-filled atmosophere experienced by the average traveller.

 

This opened up to a homely, inviting space representing the true nature of Airbnb's "LiveThere" campaign messaging. 

The space also played host to a carefully curated free programme of live performances, talks and discussions, workshops, yoga and literary recitals. 

Working on behalf of Amplify as the Executive Producer, covering pre-production, budget ownership, supplier management and on-site build and execution.
